What's new in OrderLord
Summer holidays are ending, days are getting shorter, and we are preparing for the busy period again. Most of us took the long-deserved holidays and enjoyed time with our families, refreshed and rejuvenated. We are now back planning significant improvements to our system in the close future. You might have noticed the speed of our system has increased considerably, and the loading and processing errors have been reduced by a significant margin. That's just a small taste of what we have brought to you in the month of August.

Changes and updates that you should know about for August 2022:
|
Product updates:
-
For each of the Ordered items, our V4 API now allows for notes to be sent. The note value is listed under the merit of the OrderProduct.
-
The delivery fees hierarchy has been changed. The highest priority now takes the fee set for the delivery zone. If there is no fee pre-configured for the delivery zone, the location delivery fee is considered. Furthermore, if the location delivery fee is also missing, the delivery fee set on the whole account will be applied. This hierarchy is subject to account and location settings.
More information about how it works exactly can be found in our knowledge base in the Delivery zones article. The knowledge base can be accessed from the dashboard using the drop-down menu to the right and selecting Help.
Bug fixes:
-
The issue of delivery not being finished when it was reassigned to another driver using the Will be delivered by another driver reason has been resolved. Now the delivery is finished correctly and disappears from the dashboard.
-
The German order tracker translations have been fixed. The displayed text is now in the correct language.
-
The saving of the custom view on the new Order Overview screen has been rectified. It can now be saved successfully.
Multiple instances of the same order origin have also been removed from the source filter drop-down and manual source origin has been introduced. Every order source is now listed only once, and the manual order origin can be selected from the source drop-down menu.
